The Department of Philosophical, Pedagogical and Economic-Quantitative Sciences within the University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti-Pescara (Italy) has established a two-year graduate study programme in “Management, Finance and Development” that allows outstanding students to receive their Mater degree.
STUDY PROGRAMME GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
The Master's Degree Program in Management, Finance and Development aims to train graduates with high capacity for analysis, ideation, drafting and direction of programs, projects and models of general development or specified in particular productive sectors and territorial areas. Graduates in Management Finance and Development will be able to hold positions of high responsibility in financial institutions, in international organizations, in supervisory authorities, in economic and financial studies offices of central banks and other bodies, in the direction of local and multinational companies, in agencies of development. It will also be able to play the role of freelance, especially in the economic-financial area at the highest levels of competence.
Graduates in Management, Finance and Development, for their original curriculum as Senior Economist and Financial Analyst, will be the creator of new and specific professional profiles in the synergic activities between management, finance and development, for problem setter functions, for those problem solver and in the planning and management of decision support systems.
EMPLOYMENT AND PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates in Management, Finance and Development can access highly responsible functions and perform highly professional duties
- in public and private companies, consortia of companies, business and social associations, professional and research studies operating in the various productive sectors and, in particular, in the promotion and financial support of growth and development models;
- in local, national and international public and private agencies for the promotion and supply of real and financial services to general development or in specific productive sectors;
- in local, national and international bodies that promote development and territorial and sectoral marketing;
- as a freelance economist, especially in the economic-financial area at the highest levels of competence.
In particular, through a thorough learning of knowledge relevant to economic, managerial and financial activities (international markets, regulation, competition, financial sector, production, corporate finance, administration and control), the graduate in Management, Finance and Development will be in able to fill management positions
- in financial institutions;
- in supervisory authorities;
- in the economic and financial studies offices of central banks and other bodies;
- in the direction of local and multinational companies;
- in development agencies.
